Alone

Alone

Human(s)

As social beings, it's clear that we all need to socialize. Not only does it make us mentally healthier, but it also makes our work easier because we can get help from others. Strangers we meet on the street, childhood friends, colleagues, best friends, even our own family. They are all valuable and have their own roles.

But, are you realized that?

We're alone after all.

Yes, human is egoistic creature. Every human has their own consciousness. Therefore, we all have our own interest, our own needs. We're all unique.

For example, at work, there are people who share my perspective on the tasks we need to accomplish. This brings us closer together. However, in the end, we will part ways again due to differing interests. Whether it's because of the distance being too far or not having enough time to spare.

We become alone, again.

Try to remember all your relatives, friends. How long did your togetherness last? If it's long enough, think about how long it'll take until you get separated? At the end of the day, the most we get separated by is death.

Life and Death

Yes, life is temporary. Semua yang udah kita bangun, semua hubungan yang udah kita jalin, will come to an end.  Everything we've built, every relationship we've formed, will come to an end. Even if we have friends, family, or a life partner, we will feel loneliness in the end. Because everyone has their own journey.

Life is terminal condition.
- Kris Carr

The moments of togetherness can become memories, but at the end, we'll still have to experience separation, whether it's because of distance, time, or death.

However, despite this, the value of togetherness and relationships is what's truly precious. Maybe that's what drives us to keep socializing, to keep building relationships, and to keep searching for meaning in each of our life journeys.

In the end, we may be alone, but the connections we've made along the way enrich our lives and give meaning to our journey.
